Now I understand why people urge AD to play 5. He is naturally dominant there. You know how Lakers wants to win this game when Vogel plays AD in C and busts up Caruso and KCP for defense. That contest by Caruso when Jokic wants to launch the threes to tie is really crucial. Thumbs up to both team for this great game.

Vogel doesn t play Rondo because he thinks it s winning basketball. That much is clear when Rondo didn t play a single second come crunch time. Vogel plays Rondo because it s effectively in-game load management for Bron so he doesn t have to handle the ball all the time. Come playoffs we ll see the OT lineup a lot more often, I guarantee you.
